  1. Dear Edgar Gabriel Silex,

I discovered your poetry blog via Facebook and I have to say I truely love your poetry. My favorite poem of yours is missing, it was called "Dancing with death" Will you put it online again? I would love to keep it.

  3. Hi! I believe you were my professor one year at St. Mary's College of MD for a Native American Lit course. Just thought of you today, and googled you. I hope this is the correct fellow! I remember you doing a poetry reading and it was really beautiful, haunting stuff. Are you still at the college?

One day, the college library was holding a sale of old books. An original hardcopy of Vine Deloria's was for sale, and work-study students got 1 book free. I took it, and discovered along the path that it was signed! I was so excited, I ran to your little office to show you. It wasn't until years later that I realized I should have given it to you on the spot, and that would have made me happy! It never occurred to me at the time. I wanted to contact you, but thought you might think that was odd! Now I think of you when I see that book. Anyway, hope you are well.

I have put my English degree to good use as a grant writer for nonprofits. :) I live in Maryland now.
